One of the best things you can do for an animal is open your home to them while we search for their perfect home. Often times, the right placement has yet to be found and it breaks our heart to have to make dogs wait while in poor conditions overseas. Most shelters in China and Korea are infested with sick dogs, horrible food and unsafe living conditions. If you have a cozy home you can offer up to a dog in need, we would love to hear from you!

What is Required to Foster?

Fostering a dog means you will care for them until their permanent home is found. This means taking care of them as if they were your own pet! Keeping them safe, healthy and loved is the goal.

What Cities Do You Need Fosters In?

Because our dogs fly direct flights only, for safety purposes, we currently need fosters within the 2-hour radius of JFK, LAX, SFO, ORD and sometimes SEA. All fosters must be able and willing to pick up from one of these locations.

How Long Do I Need To Foster?

The length of fostering depends entirely on the dog. Some dogs can be adopted very quickly, within a week, while others may take a bit longer to find the right home. We would ask that you be willing to keep the dog for as long as was needed to prevent them being moved around too much. The timeframe is usually between 2-8 weeks.

What Supplies Provided?

We are happy to help you with food, toys, blankets, bedding, snacks, treats and more! We are very thankful for our loving fosters so we do our best to support them when needed. If you are able to provide for them, that helps us out a lot too but it is not required. Anything you do purchase for the animal can be deducted from your taxes at the end of the year as we are an official 501(c)(3) organization.

Who Handles Medical Treatments?

If the dog needs medical attention or treatment, we will cover the costs for foster homes ONLY, however, all treatments must be organized with us involved so we are aware of the issues at hand. We also have various vets we partner with that can offer us discounts due to being a non-profit group. Please contact us for all medical treatment planning if you do decide to foster.

How To Apply to Foster?

If you are still interested in fostering a dog after reading the above, we would love to be in touch! Please fill out an application here and we will contact you shortly to discuss this arrangement further! APPLY

I live just outside Atlanta, GA. If you can’t find enough people at the other international airports, I would be happy to foster here.

I live in Charlotte, NC. We have an international airport here. I’d love to foster for you.
Would you transport to NC or just to the few airports listed?
