An estimated 30,000,000 dogs and cats die across Asia each year, all in the name of human consumption.
Not only are these animals being consumed in various parts of our world, they are being brutally tortured to death as many cultures genuinely believe that the more the animal suffers, the more tender their meat will be. You may think these are stray or wild dogs but that is not often the case as many of these precious creatures are stolen directly from their homes or sold by their owners for profit. Once they enter the slaughterhouses, many still wearing collars or microchips, the torture begins and doesn’t stop until they are killed.
